It’s not a full bounce-back, but it might be some kind of gradual improvement. Not sure.
But at least it’s a slight step up from the past week’s production.
| Week 10 number of words written: | 325 |
|
|
|
| Total number of words written to date: | 5453 |
|
|
|
| How I’m feeling about it: | Uncertain |
Uncertain doesn’t mean not committed though. I’m fully committed.
But last week was also back to school for my kids, which came with all sorts of reshuffling. This week things will be more stable. Still hectic, but less volatile.
So with that, here’s my (perhaps surprising) goal for the week:
Keep learning.
That really is it for me.
What I’m realizing from writing this book is that committing to writing a book on a topic that is truly near to your heart is one of the best ways to learn even more about that topic.
And that’s what I’m trying to do here.
I don’t know anybody who’s deeper than me in the intersection of performance psychology and marketing leadership. I really don’t.
But what I do know is that I still have a ton more to learn about it.
And learning more and more is – for the lack of a better word – actually really fun.
Writing the book is a bit stressful. But learning as I go is so energizing.
I’m not sure if focusing on that orientation will lead to significantly more words being written this week, but let’s see.
